For the past 4 years, Subaru has never sold any new model of performance-focused STI to America. Now Subaru is looking forward to unveiling two new STI concepts during the Tokyo Auto Show, which will be on October 30 to November 9, 2025.

Yesterday, the automaker released some teaser photos that show a glimpse of the concept; one is an electric STI model called the Performance-E, which previews the future of the vehicle that will be based on it.

By keeping a keen eye on the photo, one of the cars features a pointy nose that flows, forming shapely creased front fenders and also an angular headlight that has distinctive horizontal double lighting or hashmark lighting that forms part of the signature.

The wheels, especially the front ones, look to be very close to the bumpers, and additionally, Subaru has released details of the Performance E STI, which will have a spacious interior, which could suggest that they will be bringing something with a hatchback body style.

The second vehicle is the Subaru performance B model, which looks like the Subaru WRX. Subaru said that the performance B features have a gas-powered engine, and all-wheel drive may be included.

For the exterior design, as seen in the photos, it may have a heat extractor on the hood and a red trim around the grille and front fenders, which looks to be ditched from the current WRX.

Subaru plans to show off other models alongside the Subaru STI Concept at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Show, including the new Trailer Seak EV SUV, the Wilderness spec Forester, and the Outback models.
